Annual Giving

Each fall, we conduct a pledge drive to raise funds for the operation of the church for the coming year.  You may complete your pledge online here.

Our 2016 pledge campaign is framed around a theme of “Building the Blessed Community”.  During October and November, lay speakers will highlight a few of the many ways your donations help MBCC fulfill these ministries.

October 18th – Building the Beloved Community through Worship

Charlie Saunders provided a description of the work of the Diaconate Board, as they support the worship life of our congregation.

October 25th – Building the Beloved Community through Fellowship

Joyce Schubert described two of our fellowship ministries, the Shipmates and the Mariners, who continue to be a social and service foundation for our congregation.

November 1st – Building the Beloved Community through Mission

Michelle Flam detailed some of the projects in which our Social Action Board is engaged, and Carolyn Leserman described our work with Reading Partners, illustrating how we reach beyond the walls of our church.

November 8th – Building the Beloved Community through Faith Formation

November 15th – Building the Beloved Community through the Arts

These are only a few of the ministries in which members and friends of MBCC are involved, and which are made possible by the generous support of those who give to the church through their pledges and donations. As we seek to strengthen the expression of the Beloved Community here at MBCC, and Build the Beloved Community in and for the wider world, your continued support is vital.  Please download the file below for details on the current distribution of pledge levels and how your pledges are used.

By now you have received your Stewardship Campaign letter and pledge card. If you have not already done so, we would ask that you prayerfully consider making your pledge to MBCC for 2016. You can pledge online here, or return your pledge card by mail to the church office during the week, or place your pledge card in the offering plates on a Sunday morning.

Thank you for your past support, and thank you for taking the time to consider pledging for the coming year.
