Dale Townsend “Salvation Mountain.” Salvation Mountain was named a National Treasure in the Congressional Record of the United States in 2002. It’s a Folk art site located on the South East side of the Salton Sea. In Dale’s presentation we will learn about the creator of this project, it’s history and view photos of the site. After church, during coffee hour and sponsored by the Cultural Arts Board, Dale will display some of his photographs in the Fireside Room.
