The book Jesus and John Wayne will be the starting point of interactive discussions facilitated by Bill Nunan on October 3 & 10. The author, Kristin Kobes Du Mez examines the evolution of white Christian masculinities from the era of Billy Graham and John Wayne to Donald Trump. Our programs will begin with key insights from this book, and expand into courageous conversations on what it means to be Christian. Should we emulate the historical Jesus of Nazareth, or the Warrior of the book of Revelation?
