“Mending the Line” Movie – Veteran’s Day

This Veterans Day, veterans and their families are invited to a light lunch and screening of “Mending the Line” at MBCC on Saturday, November 11th at 12:30 PM. “Mending the Line” is a movie about a Marine
wounded in Afghanistan and sent to a V.A. facility in Montana. There, he meets a Vietnam Vet who teaches him how to fly fish as a way of dealing with his emotional and physical trauma. They forge a friendship that changes both of their lives. This movie was produced in part by two Manhattan Beach residents who will be participating in a Q&A after the screening. The movie will start around 1:15 PM and has a two-hour run time. This movie is rated R for language and some violent images. Please share this invitation widely with local veterans.
