Worship – Solidarity Sunday

Pastor Mike will preach on the lectionary text, Philippians 2:1-13, in which Paul writes, “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves. Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others.” Then, Paul cites the ultimate example of solidarity—Jesus Christ, who “emptied himself, taking the form of a slave…” This will be MBCC’s second “Solidarity Sunday” observance in its 118-year history. Come testify to your Christ-like love and acceptance of all!
